Vintage Women's Hudson's Fur Salon Sable Brown Mink Fur Coat 1970's Detroit S-M

A women’s vintage mink fur coat from Hudson’s Fur Salon, Detroit, Michigan. This is what is called a car-length mink coat I believe, a piece that typically falls just below the knee, making it shorter than a full-length coat but longer than a jacket. But my grandmother was shorter so see measurements below. It features a shawl lapels, hook and loop closures, lining with pleated edges at the neck, and the embroidered monogram of my grandmother. The color is a sable brown and it is lighter weight and shorter length fur which typically indicates a better quality, and the color is so bright and glossy.

Measurements lying flat are: 20 in pit to pit and approx 32 in shoulder to hem. There is also a pocket on each side. Exquisite condition that has been stored in a fabric clothing bag inside a cedar closet.

Just beautiful! I am basing the size on the pit-to-pit measurements and calling this a small/medium but use sizing for your best fit.
