This ashtray dates from the 1980's, from world renowned Harry's Bar in Venice, Italy. Could also be used as a trinket dish for jewelry on a vanity/dresser.
Hand made of solid white ceramic, shiny glaze in rare pink color with paler tint at the center, darker tint at the edges. The center is embellished with a 3-D rendering of the signature bartender with shaker and three cocktails. Dual cigar/cigarette rests. Incised 'HARRY'S BAR VENEZIA" at the perimeter surface. Marked MADE IN ITALY on the bottom.
Measures 6 3/4 inches across at widest, 5 inches wide at narrowest, and 1 1/4 inches tall.
There are some tiny "flea bite" chips at the edges. No cracks or stains. A beautiful piece!!!
